Kacie Henson, MA, LPC, NCC
Hi! I’m Kacie Henson (she/her), M.A., a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I created Hawthorn House because I believe everyone deserves a safe place to grow—a space you can return to no matter what.
I work with clients age 5 and up, helping with anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, trauma, parenting concerns, and play therapy. I blend evidence-based approaches like EMDR, TF-CBT, and DBT with a compassionate, humanistic style, tailoring each session to meet you or your child exactly where you are. I’m also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and am working toward my credentials as a Registered Play Therapist.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me trying a new recipe, listening to music, lost in a good book, or spending time with my three kids. I’m here to guide, support, and walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and resilience. I can’t wait to help you find your safe place to explore, heal, and thrive!
